TOURNAMENT DETAILS:
Couples will play together in a foursome, but the tournament teams are made up of
2 players - opposite male and female..
 2 PM Shotgun start (starting holes indicated on each cart and on the team scorecard).
 Player's Pool is $25 per couple - and includes one (1) mulligan for each player.
 Team handicaps are 100% for each player.
 Winning two-person team will be paid based upon participation with a minimum of three (3) places,
first, second and third.
 Ties will be broken based on the combined score of the lowest four handicap holes off the white
tees on the scorecard.  If still tied, the score on the next lowest handicap hole will be compared
until the tie is broken.  If still tied, the pot will be evenly split among the teams.
 Close-to-the-pin contests: Ladies – Choctaw #3 and Men - Seminole #6.
 Scores in Golf Genius will be posted automatically.
RULES:
 Tees: Ladies - SILVER & Men - WHITE (or Gold, if over 70 and designated for the season; or
Silver, if over 80 and designated for the season).
 Scoring is one net best ball from each team on each hole. Teams consist of one male and one
female (from opposite couples). Record each player’s gross (not net) score in Golf Genius and
on the official scorecard. Each player’s handicap is already included in Golf Genius. Scores shall
be input to Golf Genius after completion of each hole.
 All putts must be holed out – NO GIMMEES.
 If it is apparent that a player cannot contribute to the low team net, that player should pick up their
ball to speed up play and record your most likely score.
 USGA Rules apply in addition to IH Local Rules AND IHCGA ROOT & ROCK RULE and E5.
IHCGA ROOT & ROCK RULE:
If a player's ball or the player's swing, with virtual certainty, will come in contact with a root or a rock
then the player may move the ball to the nearest safe area (no closer to the pin) with no penalty.
E5 – Out of Bounds or lost ball: E5 rules on the website
